While we were in Southern California last week we visited LACMA and checked out the exhibit California Design, 1930-1965: Living in a Modern Way. If you're in the area, I recommend it. What I don't recommend is Anaheim. Good God, what a hellhole.
Last you saw this wall-mounted bottle opener (see here), I had not yet hung a cap receptacle. I fixed that this afternoon after picking up an ASKER container at IKEA. Before: After: Done and done. I'll hang something below the bottle opener eventually, but for now the caps fall into a small pail. After hanging items on our cardboard & playdough lathe & plaster walls, drilling straight into solid wood felt goddamn luxurious. Cheers!
